Quite Contrary Earrings
These one-of-a-kind Quite Contrary earrings in water blue and orange are made by firing multiple layers of glass enamel onto copper. In the final firings, I add the black enamel patterns using a silk screening process. I handcraft the sterling silver settings, and finish them with blueish-black freshwater pearls. The enameled circles are lovely and little, measuring 1" round and the earrings are 2" length.
Enamel is glass fused to metal, making it delicate, yet durable. I include care instructions with the earrings so you will know how to ensure their longevity with proper care.
